The 90%

Sometimes I feel an urge to blog. Little things roll around in my mind and if I had the time I know they have the potential to turn into a great post… but sometimes, life only has room for living. Lately I find myself running out of hours at the end of the day and there are still things I never got to. (Like that blog post!) My dad once said something like, 10% of life are those “Yes Lord” moments and the other 90 % of life is living it out. We have those times when we fall on our faces and say “Yes Lord! I’ll do it! Send me!” But we don’t live there on our face, for now we have to get up and live it! It doesn’t mean He’s not with us, constantly teaching us, and leading us on this journey. But sometimes we can get confused and think that we are only following the Lord when we have those “Yes Lord!” moments. How many times did Jesus call his disciples to come and follow Him? And how many days did they follow because of those one or two moments they had said “yes”?
We have agreed to our wages, and now we labor in his field.
