Do They Know Jesus?
Today one of the fire stations in our area had an open house. I took two little brothers and a little sister to the event. We got to tour the station, dress up like fire fighters, spray the hose, check out the trucks, ask questions and even have snacks. The four of us had a relaxed and enjoyable time together. Yet among all the activity my siblings kept asking me the same question: "Do they know Jesus?" Not once, but at least 2 or 3 times this question was asked of me. They wanted to know if all the fire fighters knew Jesus. Amidst the sandwiches, free plastic hats, and stickers, they hadn't lost sight of the most important thing there... the people. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 1 John 4:9;11
